Together, these groups analyse existing practices across Europe, identify common challenges, and exchange experiences to develop practical solutions that can be adapted to different national contexts.

Developing practical tools for policy and practice
The Expert Groups are producing a range of guidance materials for policymakers, employers, trade unions, public employment services and other organisations involved in migrant integration. These include recommendations on improving welcoming services, recognising migrants’ skills and qualifications, strengthening cooperation between employers and trade unions, and promoting fair and sustainable working conditions.

To ensure the project’s results remain relevant and effective, the tools developed by the Expert Groups will be tested and evaluated with experts and project partners. Their feedback will help refine the final outputs and maximise their value for organisations supporting the labour market integration of refugees and migrants across Europe.

Check developed practical tools

Strengthening cooperation through project visits
Throughout the project, SGI Europe has carried out a series of project visits to partner organisations at both European and national level. These visits provide an opportunity to monitor progress, exchange experiences, identify good practices, and discuss challenges directly with project partners and local stakeholders. They also help strengthen cooperation across the consortium, ensure that activities remain aligned with the project’s objectives, and facilitate the transfer of knowledge and successful approaches between participating countries.

<details class="wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow">
SGI Europe joins partners in Puglia, Italy on 31st October 2026

1st Press release_project visit to Italy, 31.10.2025Download

</details>

<details class="wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow">
SGI Europe joins partners in Istanbul, Turkey on 18-19th June 2026

2nd Press release_project visit to Iistanbul, 18-19.06.2026Download

</details>

As coordinator of LABOUR-INT III, SGI Europe leads the project’s European-level activities, bringing together experts, social and economic partners and international organisations to develop practical tools that support the integration of refugees and migrants into the labour market.
